February 2021 Newsletter
Dear Inspiring Together families & supporters,

We are pleased to announce that for the spring season we have exceeded our target of foster youth enrollment from the local community. We set out with a fairly high target for growth in our tutoring session for the season. During our normal enrollment period we exceeded our target in the number of students registered and we will certainly exceed our target of the number of tutoring sessions.. We really appreciate the support of CASA and DFCS of the State of Georgia in showing confidence in us to provide quality and personalized assistance to the foster youth in the local community.

We began our semester a couple of weeks ago with trained tutors and personalized tutoring sessions in language/arts and mathematics. We are delighted to reconnect with our old students and getting to know our new students! Our semester will go on until end of April.

We also see lot of interest in our Guitar tutoring program and lot more students taking advantage of the program. We are looking for more volunteers to join our Guitar tutoring program. If you know someone interested in tutoring guitar, please have them submit their information through our website.

President, Inspiring Together
Monthly Highlights
Friendship club for students with disabilities
This month we launched a new program called the Friendship Club! In this program volunteers from Inspiring Together meet with students with disabilities via Zoom. The purpose of this program is to get to know each other and share our talents! Within this club we have discovered some fine singers, writers, and poets. We would love to share some of their work in the future newsletters!

Congratulations to Ira Samant for being the volunteer of the month for the month of February! She is a sophomore and Cox Mill Highschool in North Carolina. She enjoys playing Basketball and is on her school Basketball and Track and Field teams. She has a great time tutoring for our program and is excited to see where 2021 will lead us.

"Although 2020 flipped the world upside down, it restored our faith in humanity. It allowed us to believe in each other, and for me, the most uplifting and gratifying thing in this whirlwind of a year was Inspiring Together...Although we are very eager to start up sports camps again, we are very grateful that we were able to continue to make a difference in children’s lives despite the pandemic."
Siddhi Nadkarni
"Even though 2020 was a challenging year for Inspiring together mission, we all found new and creative ways to help our community. Through social media campaigns, we reached out to high schoolers and able to communicate importance of community service. We hope that, small things we are doing for the community will help make difference in the lives of these youths"
Mallika Kulkarni

"During the second half of 2020, and the second round of pandemic case risings, I started to run the online tutoring program. The amount of gears that shift in the background to help foster students and parents is incredible, and I would not have wanted to spend 2020 any other way. As the pandemic, hopefully, settles in 2021, I am really excited to start our sports camps again while our online tutoring program stays running strong!"

Eeshan Mirajkar
"It was a exciting journey in 2020 to launch a tutoring program within 3 weeks after the lockdown declared. It was great learning experience as we worked through to launch this program to serve the community. It was also very satisfying tto see smiles on the kids faces after each tutoring session"
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT

The foster youth we serve feel comfort, warmth, and most importantly LOVED- because of you!

We are working hard this fall to improve the tutoring experience for tutors as well as students.

About Inspiring Together

Inspiring Together Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in the state of Georgia that was founded in 2018 to provide extra-curricular opportunities for young people placed in foster care or from low-income families. Our goal is to give these disadvantaged youth, important enrichment activities, that because of family or financial circumstances, they otherwise could not take part in.

We also want to provide them with a sense of community and belonging, since young people in these situations often do not have the family support that so many of us are blessed with.
