We are delighted to announce that for the spring season of online tutoring we have reached our half way point of our ten week time period. This semester we have 20 tutors and students currently having sessions, and 7 guitar instructors and students having sessions. We will conclude all of our programs for the semester in April, and restart again in the fall.
The Friendship Club is growing! We recently started our newest program called the Friendship Club. This program was initiated to empower Inspiring Together volunteers to positively impact the lives of their peers with special needs. Student with special needs meet on Zoom with Inspiring together volunteers weekly and work together to play games like Kahoot and bingo, do art projects, play instruments, and participate discussing current events. These calls are moderated by an adult volunteer. These fun and interactive activities bridge awareness for students in special education who often feel isolated and left out of school activities. By having a safe and fun space to socialize, students are able to build genuine friendships and learn new social skills. A big thank you to all our volunteers who enjoy helping and are willing to foster a friendship with students with special needs.
Along with our guitar tutoring under the music program, we have decided to add a new initiative which will be our singing program. We are looking for tutors as well as students. If you know someone interested in tutoring singing, please have them submit their information through our website.

Monthly Highlights
Meeting with National CASA
This past week Inspiring Together got an amazing opportunity to speak with national CASA. Our student and adult board delivered a presentation to the CEO of National CASA, Ms. Tara Perry. We presented what we have done as a team in the past and current program such as our sports camps and online tutoring, as well as our plans for the future which include restarting sports camps and a singing initiative. We will be working with National and GA CASA to expand our programs within GA and out of GA. We are extremely thankful and fortunate to have gotten a opportunity to speak with Ms. Perry. Kudos to our student board for putting together and executing this meeting successfully!
Volunteer of Month
Ayan Agarwal
Lets congratulate Ayan Agarwal for being the volunteer of the month for the month of March! He is a freshman at Cambridge high school. He enjoys working as a part of the Friendship Club, and especially loves having a chance to better the lives of children with special needs during their struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic. In school, he is a part of the quiz bowl and robotics team, and outside of school he plays tennis and is a Boy Scout. In the future, his goal is to pursue a STEM related career such as Computer Science or Engineering.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
The foster youth we serve feel comfort, warmth, and most importantly LOVED- because of you!
We are working hard this fall to improve the tutoring experience for tutors as well as students.
Inspiring Together Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in the state of Georgia that was founded in 2018 to provide extra-curricular opportunities for young people placed in foster care or from low-income families. Our goal is to give these disadvantaged youth, important enrichment activities, that because of family or financial circumstances, they otherwise could not take part in.
We also want to provide them with a sense of community and belonging, since young people in these situations often do not have the family support that so many of us are blessed with.
