January 2021 Newsletter

January 2021 Newsletter
Dear Inspiring Together families & supporters,

We hope that everyone had a delightful start to this new year!

We remain in a time of unprecedented challenges with the pandemic and the vaccine roll-out. But despite the uncertainty, we remain optimistic about the continued impact we can have in 2021. We are finding new ways to make a positive difference within our local community.
It’s been powerful to see the many ways we have adapted and evolved in the context of COVID-19. I am proud of all that we accomplished in 2020 and the strength shown by our volunteers. We learned the power of human connection to support and sustain one another during challenging times.
We will be starting back our spring tutoring session on February 8th. We already have 35 volunteer tutor signed up and about 30 students registered for the spring semester. We still have a few slots to take students. If you know anybody who will benefit from this program, please feel free to forward them this message. We will be expanding our music tutoring program and finding new ways to provide extracurricular activities.

We are also in process of launching our new buddy program for special needs kids & youths. We will share more information as the program evolves.

About Inspiring Together
Inspiring Together Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization in the state of Georgia that was founded in 2018 to provide extra-curricular opportunities for young people placed in foster care or from low-income families. Our goal is to give these disadvantaged youth, important enrichment activities, that because of family or financial circumstances, they otherwise could not take part in. We also want to provide them with a sense of community and belonging, since young people in these situations often do not have the family support that so many of us are blessed with.
